As I said, I've read each of these books cover to cover - some of them a few times. Each of them raise some very interesting points. They each also have different authors so different styles and ways of presenting their evidence and / or opinions. Some of them might not sit well with you, some of it may sink in and change your world - who knows!?!?! Just read them one at a time and ask me some questions if you want. Alternatively do some research of your own on the internet to try and find some more answers. Just remember - there's very rarely a 100% certainty of anything. You've just got to research a lot, make a decision for yourself and roll with it. If it works then great, if not then research a little more and adapt!
Try the books in this order - the earlier ones are more generalised and have a more gentle approach to the science involved, the later ones are a bit more specific and can be tough to grasp some concepts if you haven't got a good base understanding from the first books.
Nutrition's Playground by Ben Pratt
The Diet Delusion by Gary Taubes
The Great Cholesterol Con by Malcolm Kendrick
The Statin Damage Crisis by Duane Graveline
These books are mainly focused on nutrition, cholesterol and heart disease / diabetes and do a fantastic job of opening your eyes to the other side of the coin. They can, and do, include much more detail than you'll gleam from my blog posts in these areas so give you a bigger picture.
Just remember that the theories in the books are just that - theories. Even with the scientific evidence cited by the authors they are just theories. Read them, understand them, judge if they can work for you and give them a go. The ones that don't are still interesting to learn more about but feel free to put them to one side.
Anyway, I do hope you enjoy if you decide to read them. I found the best place to get them was Amazon (I have a Kindle and they are all available on there).
